Promusicae takes part in this first Project of University Master in Music Industry Management, organised by SFE Songsforever and Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM)

Getting to know current situation and the foreseeable future of the music industry, successful cases and new business opportunities is an all necessary condition if one aspires for being competitive in a sector constantly on the move. To this aim, the University Master in Music Industry Management has among its goals providing the students with the tools and knowledge needed to establish and manage companies in the music industry environment. The Master will have as trainers all kind of companies, societies, institutions, professionals and artists who will teach all-round the contents related to the sector: recording, publishing, live music, management, legal, contracts, marketing, communication, distribution, new technologies, internationalization, etc.). This way, students will be able to get a clear global image of the music business through a theory-practical method which will have practical stages in companies and will end with a final project supervised by the directors and by Mariano Pérez (Warner Music consultant) and Carlos Galán (founder and co-director of Subterfuge Records).

 

Hours: 600, ECTS credits: 60, Place: UCAM (Murcia)

Date: November 2014 through November 2015 (except July and August)

Time: Friday 16:00 to 20:30h and Saturday 10:00 to 14:30

Number of seats: 25

Tuition fees: 3,900 €

Pre-enrolment: deadline 15th September 2014.
