11 bands from Promusicae members have taken part on this occasion
The fourth edition of Girando por Salas (GPS4), concert touring circuit hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture and the Sports, has brought the curtain down after six months of activity (from the beginning of November to 29th April) and a total of 150 concerts by the 36 selected bands. Promusicae had an active participation again in this edition, with 11 bands produced by some of its members and the management of the 18 grants from the Ministry, valued €2,200 each, and aimed at the production of music videos or new recordings.
Bands taking part in the GPS4 linked to Promusicae were, in alphabetic order: ADN (Cantabria), Bravo Fisher (Castilla y León), Carlos Sadness (Cataluña), Els Catarres (Cataluña), Eñaut Ellorrieta (Euskadi), Funambulista (Murcia), Larumbé (Cataluña), Miss Caffeína (Madrid), Nyandú (Cataluña), Sharif (Aragón) and Tórtel, from Comunidad Valenciana. All of them had the opportunity to perform their works in venues outside their respective origin regions and to earn a fixed fee, besides travel allowances.
The Spanish INAEM (Instituto de las Artes Escénicas y Musicales) has yet confirmed that a new edition of GPS will be called for 2014-15. Promusicae will then perform again as an outstanding collaborating body.
