72 percent of new bands wish to sign with a record Company, according to IFPI
Record companies invested 4.3 billion dollar (3.4 billion euros) worldwide in 2013 in promotion, advertising and developing new bands and artists careers. This relevant figure represents 27 percent of the industry total income, as seen in the new edition of the Investing in music report, published today by the IFPI. Companies increased 26 percent their investing efforts compared to last report published, in 2011.
