PROMUSICAE ACTIVATES NEW FUNCTIONS ON EL PORTAL DE MÚSICA (EPDM): AWARDS HISTORY AND OFFICIAL SALES CHARTS, AS WELL AS GROUPING BY GENRE OF NEW RELEASES

PROMUSICAE recently launched new functions of El Portal de Música (EPDM), developed with the support for modernisation of artistic management structures within the stage arts and the music 2021 from the Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música (Stage Arts and Music National Institute) – INAEM, in the frame of the Recovery and Resilience Scoreboard – Financed by the European Union- Next Generation UE.
PROMUSICAE recently launched new functions of El Portal de Música (EPDM), developed thanks to the support for modernisation of artistic management structures within the scenic arts and the music 2021 from the Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música – INAEM, in the frame of the Recovery and Resilience Scoreboard – Funded by the European Union- Next Generation.
El Portal de Música (EPDM) is, since 2009, an important promotion tool for recorded music in Spain, via the weekly publishing of new releases from PROMUSICAE members' recording labels, as well as official radio and sales charts. PROMUSICAE is including now some improvements that will allow to review the awards history of Golden and Platinum awards* granted since 1994. Also available for review there will be storage details of sales charts by artist, so that the positions held by different artists and their respective recorded works since 2009 (as this is the information available at EPDM) can be seen in a grouped way.
Likewise, a classification of new releases (Albums/Songs) has been introduced by music genre, so that registered profiles can receive weekly customised newsletters based on preferred genres.
These new tools intend to ease for all music professionals, media and fans and the general public to get information on their favourite acts, their recording works and their history in sales charts and the Golden and Platinum awards achieved.
Besides, PROMUSICAE is presenting a new image for Golden Award® and Platinum Award®, as well as for Top 1 from each official sales charts (Top100 Albums, Top100 Vinyl and Top100 Songs) and official Radio chart, accompanying the publication in different PROMUSICAE communication channels when awards are granted.
