SOUNDS FROM SPAIN PARTICIPATES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL IN GERMANY

Focusing on internationalising Spanish music in Europe, Sounds From Spain will participate for the first time in the Reeperbahn Festival to be held in Hamburg (Germany) from 20 to 23 September 2023.
The Spanish delegation will be made up of four bands and the companies that represent them: Eva Mcbel (Altafonte/Emerge Producciones), Lady Banana (Subterfuge Records), Lorenzo Soria (Mushroom Pillow/Artica Agency) and Nueve Desconocidos (All Nighters), who together with PROMUSICAE- Productores de Música de España, as the coordinating association of the activity, will travel to Hamburg, to participate in the Showcase that will take place on 21 September at the Mojo Jazz Café, as well as the previous reception for professionals on the same day at the same club at 8pm.
They will also take part in the other activities that make up the festival's parallel conference agenda.
The Reeperbahn Festival is the largest venue festival in Europe and the biggest European platform for international pop culture and the music industry since 2006. It is both a stage for international talent and a discussion forum for current developments in the global music industry. This market is a source of inspiration that shapes the future of music and society and whose impact extends beyond the days of the event.
This activity will be accompanied by a generic promotion and communication campaign that ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones will carry out at various European festivals, including Reeperbahn, to reinforce the image of Sounds from Spain and increase the visibility of music created in Spain, with the support of AIE - Artistas, Intérpretes y Ejecutantes, which will support the travel expenses of the participating artists through travel grants.
