Training Day on Digital Marketing in the music industry

The event hosted by Fundación Pons on Tuesday 21st January is free for all Promusicae members.
Today, Fundación Pons will host a training/ and workshop day on Digital Marketing specially addressed to music industry professionals interested in getting a better knowledge of new and essential online distribution tools. The event, organized by Promusicae for all its members, will be held in morning and afternoon sessions with the participation of some of most authorized speakers specialized in the Spanish market. Some 65 people from 22 different member companies have confirmed attendance.
The workshops will start with an intensive session by Manuel Sevillano (Pons Formación), who will offer an introduction to Marketing Principles, followed by the presentation by Carlos García Doval (Promusicae) of a case study based on El Portal de Música (www.elportaldemusica.es) and some other practical examples on the Internet potential presented by music industry consultant Ferrán Coto.
Afternoon session will continue with the presentation by streaming Napster's Oscar García Blesa (Key Account Manager Spain) of the details of the recently launched alliance with Vodafone for premium subscriptions. The following session will explain the numerous collaboration schemes proposed by Amazon.es, Spanish subsidiary of the giant Internet distribution company. Executives of the company Emanuel Carretero (Senior Vendor Manager), Raúl Juliá (Content Acquisition Manager), and Miriam Montoya Ortega (Affiliate Program Manager) will provide first-hand information to Promusicae members.
Digital Marketing workshops will conclude with the last presentation, by YouTube Partner Manager Cristina Delgado, on how to get the most from content uploaded to this enormous video platform where millions of audiovisual files are viewed every day worldwide.
