SOUNDS FROM SPAIN RETURNS TO GERMANY'S REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL WITH BEST SPANISH MUSIC

As a part of the bet for internationalisation of Spanish music in Europe, Sounds From Spain will resume its participation in Reeperbahn Festival, to take place in Hamburg (Germany) between 18th and 21st September 2024.

The Spanish delegation will be conformed by four bands and their representing companies: Eva Ryjlen (Enredarte), Gilipojazz (Sonde3), Marta Knight (La Castanya) and Musgö (El Tragaluz), that together with PROMUSICAE- Productores de Música de España, as the association coordinating the event, shall travel to Hamburg to take part in the Showcase which will be held on 19th September at the Grüner Jäger venue; the same day and club will host the previous reception for professionals. This time, also representatives of AIE, Artistas, Intérpretes y Ejecutantes shall participate, supporting acts with some travel grants.

They will also participate in the rest of activities shaping the agenda of the Conferent to be held simultaneously to the festival.

Reeperbahn Festival is the main clubs festival in Europe and the biggest European platform for international pop culture and music industry since 2006. It is a backdrop for international talent as well as a discussion arena for current developments of the global music industry. This market is a strong source of inspiration that shapes the future of music and society, which impact spreads far beyond the days of the event.

This activity is supported by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, the INAEM – Instituto Nacional de Artes Escénicas y de la Música and AIE – Artistas, Intérpretes y Ejecutantes.
